I home educated my son who is now grown up. My interest in home education politics began towards the end of 2006 when I joined Education Otherwise Government Policy Group because I’d heard rumours about “light touch changes to monitoring and registration.” You can read more about what happened next here

I run a number of websites related to home education and special educational needs  http://edyourself.org/            http://ehe-sen.org.uk/                   http://snafu2.org.uk/

I carry out research into policy and practice and speak at conferences and workshops
